hi from LA! anyone here replaced an ecu?

mine is 2002 g500, missing ecu, and probably a few other issues. i know i can pay dealer to replace with new, but there is also a way to virginize and program a used ecu to achieve same result.

anyone here have info on these peeps?

yes, on mine its in cabin, but yes

Yes dealers can replace the ECU, even most private MB repair shops can do this.

im looking to replace with a used instead of spending 3k and waiting on back order.
