As said in my introductions, I currently own a G400 CDI and it gives me all kind of problems
Now i could use some help with my AC problems
in Short'my AC does not work anymore, the garage can not find it and Star ( i bought the programm ) only give the faultcodes but when i want to check a wirediagramm of the AC, it only shows the diagramm for G models after 2013
As said the Benz specialist can not help me anymore so i decided to convert the AC from ECC into a manual controlled one, but i have a question about the compressor
Normally it is not that diffilcult to take the AC out of the canbus area and convert it to manual operating but I heard that the compressor is a variable one in this G
I.e instead of just on/off it supposed to work with variable pressure ( so the computer gives a signal to in or decrease the pressure )
I would like to hear from you guys if that is true.
as when i check parts for an older G500 ( that should be without the can bus ) the compressor looks the same to me.
So the big question; is this a regular compressor ( so on or off ) or are these compressors all variable
