Howdy. New member. Just bought a 2013 G550. Most Everything works, except the cigarette lighter. I’d like to get it working since I need it for the power cords for iPhone.

Is there a fuse plug that controls it? Anyone else have issues with theirs? Thanks!

(I did a search but nothing came up)

Howdy back!

I chased for an answer myself, and ended up buying the wiring diagrams to fish the info...

Look at this video to help you find the fuse boxes (3 of them):

Three fuses that you need to check, they are all 15A so grab a box:

First, is fuse 28, located on the Interior Fuse Box 34 (driver's side instrument panel). There is a plastic cover that you pry open with a wedge or similar tool. This one powers the rear compartment 115vAC power socket and the 12vDC outlet behind the console.

Next are fuses 47 and 61, located in Fuse Box N10/1 (passenger footwell, under the glove box). You take 4 Phillips screws out and remove the carpeted liner to access. This one is tricky because its upside down, so it helps if you take a picture with your phone and then look at the correct location. Now to save you time, if you put the key in the ignition and your glove box light is on, then fuse 47 is good (47 powers the glove box light and the cigarette lighter outlet in the console tray). Lastly, 61 powers the passenger footwell 12vDC outlet (this was the one blown for me).

As a quick FYI, I checked continuity in the passenger footwell outlet, just to make sure it was not busted. If you have power to the leads with ignition on, this might be the case. But, checking fuses is always easier...

Let me know if this works for you!
